Recent Manhattan College graduate Lydia Wehrli (Anieres, Switzerland) competed in the women's hammer throw at the French National Championships this weekend. Despite being a native of Switzerland, Wehrli is currently representing a French club, which made her eligible for the French Championships. She finished ninth overall at the meet, getting out to a distance of 56.86 meters (186 feet, six inches).
