Former Manhattan College track & field star and current NYPD officer Brian McGovern won a gold medal in the pole vault at the International Police & Fire Games on Saturday. He set a new meet record with a leap of 5.06 meters (16 feet, 7 inches) in the competition held at George Mason University.
