For the first time in the history of the meet, the Manhattan College men's track & field team enters the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Outdoor Championships without a title to defend. The Jaspers, who finished second to Rider in 2013, saw their 17-year winning streak at the MAAC Indoor Championships snapped by conference newcomer Monmouth in February. Manhattan has a chance to start a new streak this weekend at the Rider University Track & Field Complex. Competition gets underway at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and continues at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
